Main work done
After over a decade of being laid up in the harbor, the barge underwent a comprehensive refit and modernization, transforming it into a push barge, improving barges maneuverability, efficiency, ice navigation class and saving cost on fuel and port tug services.
The renovation was executed in three distinct phases to minimize the vessel's downtime.

Stage 1
Extensive hull repairs and metal replacements were undertaken, including the complete overhaul of two AUX engines and the stern thruster. The restoration of various mechanical systems was carried out, and a Ballast Water Management System (BWMS) was installed.

Stage 2
The barge's hull was thoroughly cleaned and painted. New AUX engine installed, control systems modernized. The cooling system underwent a comprehensive renovation, and the refurbished stern thruster was reinstalled.
